Still at work. Dolohov & Pomona have been closeted in his office, he has just stepped out and asked me to floo call Bella to have her come to Hogwarts "immediately, don't use the journals, where people can see". He's back inside, couldn't see Pomona.

This morning Madam Pomfrey figured out that the badge she gave me for the YPL sash ‘to be my best, most alert, most loyal self’ was spelled to force me to pay full attention to anyone talking around me. It didn’t directly make me as grumpy as I have been since, but the feeling of loss of control had that effect. I apologise for my behaviour these last few days.

Madam Pomfrey says she will inform Deputy Headmistress Vector and Headmistress McGonagall when she returns. We think she has neutralised the spell, but I will continue to wear the pin as a reminder.

Private Message Professors Siz and Sprout

I'm on my way to the hospital wing. I think something is actually wrong with me. I'm incapable of concentrating when other people are around and talking in any way. Non-Quidditch conversations in the stands were distracting me from the game on Saturday. Last night I completely lost my temper with some kids doing perfectly normal, quiet and acceptable study discussion in the library. My utter inability to concentrate has made me extremely irritable. I'd like to make sure that nothing magical has been done to me and that nothing is wrong medically.

I've already let Melinda know I'll be gone this afternoon. I do have potions at 3, but hopefully I'll be back by then.

I have students asking me about what happened to Chelsea and Starling. I'm not sure what to tell them. Have we definitely found out what happened? Should I stick to 'it's being investigated' for now? I have a suspicion that I know what happened, but am very reluctant to tell other students what that suspicion is for a variety of reasons, chiefly not wanting to spread rumours about an adult.

I'll pass whatever we decide on to Melinda as well.

Valerie just came to me about Chelsea's behaviour today. She's been busy all day, incapable of sitting down to do anything other than coursework or eating a meal as quickly as possible. She says she 'has to be up and doing something all the time. Like cleaning or straightening or organizing' While we were discussing this she dusted all of the pictures in the common room. Just now she stumbled a bit and sat down down hard into a chair. After a moment she said 'I can sit down now!' with this note of wonder in her voice.

I'm not sure if I should be sending her to the Matron to be checked or just seeing how she feels tomorrow.

Siz,
I just messaged Professor Raz asking to discuss my post Hogwarts plans, specifically my Quidditch chances. I should also talk with you about other options if Quidditch isn’t in my stars. If we can talk around Astronomy observation tonight that would be great. Of course we also need to discuss my NEWT project as well.

However, that’s long term planning. We should also talk about helping our house adjust the the substantial scheduling difficulties thrust so suddenly upon us all between YPL and the Da Noble Arts classes and study sessions. Did you and Professor Sprout get a chance to talk about how to help the sett adjust to the scheduling difficulties? Didn't you have some ideas about the younger years particularly OWL students who hadn’t taken any of the classes previously? We may need to work individually with the most overwrought. Has Stebbins said anything to you about having to take Noble Arts yet?
