Thank you all for the cards, flowers and gifts.

I am not in much strike that pain, but everything is harder to do.

I don’t know when the Healers at St Mungos will release me, but it shouldn't be too much longer. They have told me that even after being able to leave, it will be a long time and a great deal of work before I will make a full recovery. But a full recovery is probably.

It does not look like I’ll be back to Hogwarts before the leaving feast.

Thank you all for the well-wishes and support. I look forward to seeing my friends this summer.

Think of us next week as our agony begins. We, of course, will probably be thinking of the thermal properties of Hottentott potion, the unfortunate mating habits of Common Welsh Green Dragons, and the wand motions necessary for the fastest charms for helping a choking victim. It will all be exceedingly fraught, no doubt.

When we're through (and you're allowed visitors), we should sit down together to discuss summer plans. Among other things.
