Hufflepuff Prefects, we're having a meeting immediately after dinner. This will be somewhat short as some of us need to get off to Quidditch practice. The RSs will lead warm ups until we arrive.

I will be either in the library or the Hufflepuff common room all day until supper, if any prefects or students need me.

I've said it before and I will say it again. The prefects are here to help students with any problems they are having. Dealing with the necessary loss of someone you considered a friend can be traumatic. If anyone needs to talk through the friendly deception of traitors, we are available. If anyone has any memories of the traitor Fleet that they might feel they ought to report to the authorities, please come to me and I will pass this along to the proper authorities at a time convenient to them rather than a stream of students interrupting their important work.

Also please keep frivolous visits to the infirmary to a minimum as Professor Dolohov is still convalescing. Of course true medical emergencies should still report promptly.

Hembridge cursed me. She bloody well cursed me. I am so hacked off I could just scream but I can’t for oh so many reasons. GAH. No one’s going to really care about my petty problems given what’s happening in Ireland, I can’t piss her off more than she already is with me, etc.

We didn’t figure it out yesterday because the first thing I did once I got to the hospital wing was take off the sash and outer robe so it wasn’t affecting me during the examination.

I didn’t really whinge about the badge, because you know I did fall asleep during YPL and I really shouldn’t have. But she cursed the damned badge so that I had to pay attention to anyone near me who was talking while I was wearing it.

If I wandered away from you since YPL to listen to some inane firsties in conversation, I apologise. The curse didn’t directly make me grumpy and short I was just so frustrated not feeling in control.

Valerie just came to me about Chelsea's behaviour today. She's been busy all day, incapable of sitting down to do anything other than coursework or eating a meal as quickly as possible. She says she 'has to be up and doing something all the time. Like cleaning or straightening or organizing' While we were discussing this she dusted all of the pictures in the common room. Just now she stumbled a bit and sat down down hard into a chair. After a moment she said 'I can sit down now!' with this note of wonder in her voice.

I'm not sure if I should be sending her to the Matron to be checked or just seeing how she feels tomorrow.
